24.8.06 2:33pm This is the second photograph of my Skype phone. It is in it's charging cradle. The charger used to be a base unit when it was a cordless POTS phone. I used to wrap the phone cable around the aerial, but I cut it off to save weight (it was long and heavy). Underneath the cradle is an internal floppy drive which I found in a bin at school. It works. So, to sum up: A cordless phone with a cable, and an internal floppy drive mounted on a speaker. It had to be external because there are no spare drive bays inside. There is no side cover on the computer. Warning! 1.7 MB Image. 9.8.06 2:04pm This is a screenshot of the between-level score sheet of my Space Ships game. 9.8.06 2:03pm This is a screenshot from the first level of my Space Ships game. 20.7.06 8:19pm This is my desktop screenshot. It has changed a lot since the 5th of July, so I thought I'd put a new one in. 20.7.06 8:19pm This is a screenshot from my laptop. Running is fluxbox (Window Manager), fluxter (Icons), torsmo (System Monitor), and dillo (Web Browser). 8.7.06 4:29pm This is the second photograph. You can see the wireless card, the PSU and the heat sink very clearly here. Warning! 1.6 MB Image. 5.7.06 5:07pm My desktop screenshot. Featuring Aero AIO, Liquid Weather++, Word of the Day, Amarok, and a 4 Elements Wallpaper which I put Marvin in. |
8.9.06 4:24pm This is another face sketch. I did a second because the first wasn't very good. This is also done completely in the GIMP, and is also animated. The thumbnail pictured here is the final image. 1.9.06 5:51pm This is a face sketch that I did completely in the GIMP. It is animated so you can see the process as it goes along. This is not the finished image. This is the first frame of an animation. 24.8.06 2:30pm This is the first photograph of my Skype phone. It used to be a cordless POTS (Plain Old Telephone System) phone. The red and yellow wires used to be for speaker, but the other end fell off and I couldn't be bothered fixing it. The buttons don't do anything, except when used as a normal phone (which it still works as!). The plastic box next to it is where the wires coming out of the phone are joined to a jack lead going into the computer. Warning! 1.7 MB Image. 9.8.06 2:04pm This is a screenshot of in the second level of my Space Ships game. 9.8.06 2:02pm This is a screenshot of the main menu screen of my Space Ships game. 25.7.06 2:18pm This is my registration image from the Linux Counter. 12.7.06 6:53pm This is a photograph of a lion. It was given to me by Max Krupa, but not taken by him. 8.7.06 4:27pm This is the first photograph of Neal, the computer which I fixed. It is in the corner of my bed room and is running Mepis 3.4-3. It has two hard disks, at the back between the monitor and the wall, one of 4GB and one of 20GB. It has ~256MB of RAM, and a 1.8GHz Celeron D. It is also running distccd. Warning! 1.6 MB Image. |
